Similar to Ethiopian carterii, the Boswellia papyrifera from the tiny African nation of Eritrea, is a much sweeter Frankincense than that of Aden, Oman, Somalia and India. The fragrance has fresh lemon and pine tones. This highly prized species is also grown in Ethiopia and Sudan. Some scholars say this is most likely the frankincense of antiquity. Used throughout the ages to enhance spirituality, mental perception, meditation, prayer and consciousness, frankincense soothes the spirit as it slows and deepens breathing.

Lovely and earthy, even pleasing to the eye.

Amazing
I purchased this to replace what I purchased from a different company, which was unburnable. This product, however, was so much better than I expected. And I am thrilled with the sample product and will be buying all my resin inscence from here from now on
