Check out our new Palo Santo Powder!
Over the years, customers and fans of Palo Santo Wood have asked us, "Hey! Why don't you have Palo Santo Wood Powder?" As the demand increased for the powder, we searched Peru to see if it was available, and if we could find a reliable vendor, which can be hard to find!
Palo Santo is a tree native to Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula south to Peru and Venezuela. It is also found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Honduras, Ecuador and on the Galapagos islands. The tree belongs to the same family (Burseraceae) as frankincense and myrrh.
The Palo Santo Wood powder can be used in small amounts as an ingredient in incense mixtures. Mixes wonderfully with all the copal resins, sandalwood, vanilla, balsams, benzoin, etc.
Palo Santo is now a protected resource, as its precious oil was harvested through deforestation for several decades. There has been a strong movement for replanting and replenishing this beloved wood that has been used in many South American cultures, such as the Incas, for centuries. We obtain our Palo Santo from trusted and ethical vendors who only harvest from naturally fallen trees.

Great stuff
A clean, high quality Palo Santo powder. It's nice and fine, more so than the Indonesian Mysore-Quality Santalum Album sandalwood powder although not as fine as the Indian dark sandalwood powder.
