Frankincense Resin (Boswellia dalzielii) - Nigeria

Frankincense (Boswellia dalzielii), harvested in Nigeria, is fair trade and sustainable. Relatively unknown outside of Nigeria and Burkina Faso, it is harvested in the northeastern part of the country, in the Harrabi region, which is the furthest west for frankincense harvesting in Northern Africa. 

Compared to the Boswellia dalzielii we receive from Burkina Faso, it is easier to chew for those who may use it for medicinal purposes.

The fragrance is  warm but earthy, sweet with amber tones and contains a high oil concentration.
