Copal White (Bursera jorullense) from Mexico is a wonderfully fresh, soft white copal resin with delightfully bright and lively notes. Cleansing, refreshing, meditative.
Many trees were destroyed, as were the roads leading to the region several years ago. Due to such devastation, the harvesting and export of Copal Blanco ceased until recently. With high demand and small quantities available, the price has increased about 20%.
This particular batch of White Copal is extraordinarily fresh and some pieces may have a soft consistency.

First time with Copal!
This Copal has a eucalyptus smell to it and smells very nice. The most remarkable thing in noticed is that it burns VERY cleanly on charcoal. It reminds me of watching water evaporate in a pan and it just vanishes, while leaving little to no burnt smell. I really like this Copal.
