A new addition to our inventory, comfrey leaf (Sympthytum officianale) has been used throughout the ages as an anti-inflammatory and as an aid in wound care. It is also known as "knitbone" or "yallac". While once only available in Asia and Europe, it is now widely grown and harvested worldwide.
It's bittersweet, herbaceous, mildly grassy fragrance mixes well with frankincense as well as other herbs such as lavender. The comfrey plant's large leaves as well as roots are popular in ritual work, as it's said to protect travelers and attract money.
