Sandalwood of another species, Santalum spicatum, is native to Western Australia. This sandalwood is deadwood, i.e. sandalwood that has naturally died and collected from the desert floors. No living trees are used. These are considered small chips and beautifully aromatic, containing the essential oil elements. Best for burning and recommended for use in meditation, religious and custom ceremonies. You can burn these chips to aid in calming and relaxation. Best smelling chips I have found so far, very fragrant large pieces. I have already bought more since my first purchase.

This was the first time I experienced Australian Sandalwood and was pleasantly surprised. At first it was very sweet, then after 20 minutes was exuded and awesome fragrance almost equal to Sandalwood from India. I definitely will purchase again!
