Pinon Pine Resin, also known as Trementina is native to the southwest United States. It has many names including piñon resin, trementina de piñon and piñon pine resin and is a sacred resin commonly used by Native Americans. It has been used to heal, to balance and clear energies, and for fertility, compassion and mental strength. Burn alone, or combine with other incense resins for a meditative combination. It has a smooth southwestern aroma and does not smell like other more common pine resins like colophony.

Good stuff
A high quality resin, and it's nice to be able to add a strong pine note to incense mixtures without the hassle of trying to break down fatwood.

Top Quality
I LOVE when a company gives you exactly what you were hoping for. This is real, fresh, and beautiful Pinon resin. It has that caramel candy warmth when you burn it. I use an electric incense burner and this resin becomes a clean burning work of art on it!

wonderful
I think when people hear of evergreen tree resins, they assume they are lack luster and not "exotic" enough. That is what I thought, and realized that all botanicals have a place and use. Wonderfully cleansing and spicy, add to the fact it grows in dry arid areas in the SW USA so it has that "exotic" characteristic, at least for me. One of my favorites for sure and great on its own.
